The project transforms an existing residence on a steep hillside into a house defined by its relationship with the landscape and distant views. The renovation reorganises the building as three distinct volumes, whose positioning and interaction define the spatial sequence of the house and give clarity to the overall composition.
At the rear, the main living spaces open almost entirely towards the view through a large glazed opening. The interior extends onto a generous deck projected over the slope and supported by slender columns, creating an elevated outdoor living space that becomes an integral part of the house.
A restrained palette of timber, dark framing, and rendered surfaces reinforces the proportions of the three volumes while maintaining a clear distinction between solid and transparent elements. The result is a residence shaped by the relationship between mass, openness, and landscape, where the renovation establishes a stronger continuity between interior space, outdoor living, and the view.
